not your average werewolves
Super strength and a sixth sense come with being a Werewolf. Fast healing and the inability to get a common cold are other natural abilities. These are in both human and shifted form. However there are some more rare and hereditary abilities that range far and wide and may be effected by your personality and whether you are a dominant or a submissive. Below is a list of regular abilities and then the more powerful and uncommon ones.
Slow Aging. Werewolves age slower, practically stopping, after they reach maturity or at the point they are turned.
Strength, Agility and Speed. You may not be superman, but you could probably lift a car. Granted you won't be able to pick a car up and lift it over your head. You are stronger in your human form than you are in shifted form and you can easily out run any human. As a wolf you are a lot more quick than you are in human form and quite a lot more so than a regular wolf.
Extended senses; Smell and hearing are very strong for a Werewolf and go beyond your typical natural wolf. A werewolf could, in human form, be able to pinpoint a persons heartbeat and concentrate on that sound alone so that it is all they can hear. Naturally, werewolves like quiet environments because someone even listening to music with headphones can cause a person in another room annoyance. Smell is also an every day part of life and most find that smells that might bother normal people doesn't necessarily smell bad to them.
Night Vision and Infrared are not the same ability and not all wolves have the ability to see infrared. All werewolves can see in night in both forms. However, infrared vision is only used when shifted and glows around any warm, living, object. This is used for detection in hunts and for enemies.
Sixth Sense and Empathy. Having an animalstic six sense allows you to naturally go with gut instinct. You can tell something is wrong before you see or hear it and you are more in tune with nature. Empathy is for very emotional personalities who connect on a psychic level and take the sixth sense to a more serious level of caring and compassion.
Telepathy. When shifted and around other members of your pack you can communicate telepathically. You do not 'become the wolf' completely, as you still maintain a healthy amount of your human mind and decision making. This telepathy is strong and can often be used in human form for an appropriate amount of time after shape shifting. The stronger and more dominant a person, the more of this ability they have. Submissives and newly made wolves find this ability a headache and their voices are weak and usually get horrible migraines due to the loudness and aggressiveness of their more able pack mates.
Wrath is an aggressive ability that makes a strong wolf go into a state of berserk and become less human and more animal. Their speed and strength are heightened in this sense, making one heck of a supernatural canine fighter. This ability makes you more prone to attack one of your own kind.
Dreamwalking;This is the ability to subconsciously send themselves into the minds of any pack member. This is like a psychic connection that can extend the farthest reaches of the world. Alphas often use this ability to keep tabs on the wolves who come of age and go out on their own. This is not an Alpha-only ability, but it is rather rare and always a family trait (as in made werewolves cannot get this ability).
